Your Superway engineer Liam Donnelly

Liam Donnelly is Technical Director, Bridges with GHD based in Perth, Australia. Liam was design manager for the tender and detailed design phases of the South Road Superway. With more than 25 years of experience in bridge design and management in the UK, Bangkok and Australia, Liam is a Fellow of Engineers Australia and was educated at Trinity College, Dublin.

Your Superway engineering coach Mark Brownley

Mark Brownley is a MBA-qualified chemical engineer and Fellow Chartered Professional Engineer with more than 30 years' experience and deep domain knowledge in infrastructure services, energy distribution and commercial aviation. Mark is an accredited Engineering Executive and was educated at Monash University and the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He is a member of the Chemical & Biological Engineering Industry Advisory Board at Monash University.

  • How long does it take to complete the Superway course?

    Superway is a self-paced, short course designed for maximum impact that can be completed in about 3 hours. We recommend you use a Google Chrome browser to maximise your Superway experience.

  • Will I get a Certificate of Completion?

    Absolutely! And you'll be able to download it and post it to your favourite social media platform.

  • Can I put Superway on my CV?

    Yes. Superway is a professional development activity. You should always let employers know how you're expanding your knowledge base by including course completion on your CV.

  • How much can civil engineers earn in Australia?

    A graduate civil engineer can expect to earn $A60-65K plus superannuation (10.5%). After 3 years, a civil engineer would expect to earn $A90-100K plus superannuation and after 5-10 years between $A110-150K plus superannuation. These salaries are indicative only and can vary depending on employer and market conditions.

  • Will I just learn about bridge design?

    No. You'll get professional practice insights from industry leaders and engineering executives that you can use on future projects and to increase your career prospects.
